The Hospitalist track has been designed to allow
an emphasis and concentration on those areas which will prepare
one for a hospitalist
career. One may choose this track anytime during the PGY 1 year. A required research block provides the resident with the opportunity to explore a clinical question pertinent to hospital Medicine. The “Hospitalist team” rotations involve working with our full-time Hospitalists as an “apprentice” and consist of different schedules, rounding, and emphasis compared to the usual ward rotations. The schedule detailed below
is a rough “starting point” and may be modified to
meet individual needs.
